TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Effective Date: September 14, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern purchases, registrations, equipment rentals, and use of bureauofnursingarts.com and related registration pages (collectively, the “Website”). The Website and its services are operated by Bureau of Nursing Arts LLC (“Bureau of Nursing Arts,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using the Website, submitting an inquiry, registering for a class, purchasing a product, or reserving rental equipment, you agree to these Terms.

  1. SERVICES

Bureau of Nursing Arts offers First Aid, CPR, AED, safety-training, patient-advocacy, educational, and equipment-rental services. Available services, prices, dates, formats, locations, and instructors may change.

A listing, inquiry, or unfinished checkout does not reserve a seat or rental item. Registration or rental is confirmed only after payment is successfully processed and a confirmation is issued.

  1. CUSTOMER INFORMATION

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. A valid email address is required for registration, receipts, class information, schedule changes, and other transaction-related communications.

You are responsible for reviewing the email address and class or rental selection entered during checkout. You must promptly notify us through the Website contact form if confirmation information appears incorrect.

Do not submit Social Security numbers, financial-account information, medical records, protected health information, or other unnecessary sensitive information through a general Website form.

  1. PAYMENTS

Prices are stated in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated. Applicable taxes, deposits, delivery charges, replacement costs, or other disclosed fees may be added.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Available payment methods may include credit or debit cards, PayPal, or digital wallets. The payment methods displayed during checkout are the methods available for that transaction.

A payment authorization, pending charge, or abandoned checkout does not confirm registration. We may cancel or decline a transaction when payment cannot be verified, a listing contains a material error, fraud is suspected, or the requested service is unavailable.

  1. CLASS REGISTRATION

Participants must select the correct course, format, and date. Course requirements may vary by employer, licensing authority, school, regulatory body, or professional organization. Customers are responsible for verifying that a course satisfies their particular requirements before purchasing.

We do not guarantee that any course, certificate, or online-only training will be accepted by a particular employer, licensing agency, educational program, or other third party.

Blended-learning participants must complete all assigned online work before the scheduled hands-on session. Failure to complete prerequisites, arrive on time, participate safely, or satisfy applicable course requirements may prevent completion or certification and does not create an automatic right to a refund.

Certification is based on applicable course standards and successful completion requirements. Registration or attendance does not guarantee certification, employment, licensure, promotion, or any other professional outcome.

  1. SCHEDULING AND CHANGES

Customer-requested changes must be submitted through the Website contact form at least 48 hours before the scheduled class or rental pickup time.

Requests submitted less than 48 hours before the scheduled time may be declined. Approved transfers are subject to availability and may be limited to one change per purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Seats and rental inventory are not transferred until written confirmation is provided. Customers should not assume that submitting a request automatically changes a reservation.

  1. BUSINESS CANCELLATIONS

We may reschedule, relocate, substitute a qualified instructor, combine, or cancel a class because of enrollment, instructor availability, severe weather, safety conditions, facility issues, emergencies, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

If we cancel a paid class and cannot provide a reasonable replacement, the customer may choose an available transfer or a refund of the amount paid directly for the affected class. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential expenses such as transportation, lodging, childcare, missed work, or third-party fees, except where required by law.

  1. EQUIPMENT RENTALS

Rental equipment remains the property of Bureau of Nursing Arts. The renter is responsible for the equipment from pickup or delivery until its documented return.

The renter agrees to:

  • Inspect the equipment at pickup and promptly report visible damage or missing components.

  • Use the equipment only for lawful training purposes and according to supplied instructions.

  • Maintain reasonable supervision, sanitation, security, and protection from weather, misuse, theft, and unauthorized access.

  • Not sell, modify, sublease, pledge, or transfer the equipment without written authorization.

  • Return all equipment, cases, accessories, and components on time and in substantially the same condition, ordinary wear excepted.

Rental pickup or schedule changes require at least 48 hours’ notice and remain subject to availability.

Late returns may incur additional rental charges. Missing, excessively soiled, misused, stolen, or damaged equipment may result in reasonable cleaning, repair, replacement, administrative, or loss-of-use charges, subject to applicable law. Charges will not exceed the reasonable amount necessary to address the loss, damage, or delay.

A security deposit or payment authorization may be required. Any refundable balance will be processed after the equipment is returned and inspected, subject to processing times imposed by the payment provider.

The renter must immediately report loss, theft, damage, malfunction, or unsafe conditions and discontinue use of affected equipment.

  1. HEALTH AND SAFETY

Training may involve kneeling, bending, physical activity, and practice with training equipment. Participants should use reasonable judgment regarding their ability to participate and may request available accommodations through the Website contact form.

Training information is educational and is not individualized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service.

Participants must follow safety instructions. We may remove a participant whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, threatening, discriminatory, unlawful, or materially interferes with instruction.

  1. MINORS

Purchases and registrations must be completed by a person legally capable of entering into a contract. A parent or legal guardian must authorize participation and provide required information for a minor.

The Website is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 should not submit personal information through the Website.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Website content, original course materials, branding, graphics, photographs, and other materials owned by Bureau of Nursing Arts may not be copied, recorded, distributed, modified, sold, or commercially used without written permission.

Third-party course names, materials, trademarks, and certification programs remain the property of their respective owners and may be subject to additional terms.

  1. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We attempt to provide accurate and current information but do not guarantee uninterrupted Website access or that every description is free from typographical, technical, or pricing errors.

The Website may link to third-party providers, including payment processors, calendar services, hosting providers, certification organizations, or external educational services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their availability, security, or content.

  1. DISCLAIMERS

Services and Website content are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We make no promise that Website use, training, advocacy services, products, or rentals will produce a specific personal, professional, medical, legal, licensing, or financial result.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, duties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bureau of Nursing Arts will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from Website use, schedule changes, third-party services, or participation in a service.

Any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or another liability that cannot legally be limited.

  1. INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or reasonable costs resulting from your unlawful conduct, material violation of these Terms, misuse of rental equipment, or infringement of another person’s rights.

  1. ACCESSIBILITY AND ACCOMMODATIONS

We strive to provide reasonable access to our services. Accommodation requests should be submitted through the Website contact form as early as reasonably possible. Availability may depend on the nature of the request, course requirements, facility, and applicable law.

  1. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any mandatory consumer protection or jurisdictional rights remain unaffected.

  1. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms prospectively. The Effective Date will identify the latest version. The terms presented or accepted when a purchase is completed will ordinarily govern that transaction, except where a change is required by law.

  1. SEVERABILITY

If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

  1. CONTACT

Questions, accommodation requests, scheduling requests, and legal notices may be submitted through the contact form at bureauofnursingarts.com/contact.
